I started coming to yoga in January after hearing my friend rave about how amazing it is. She was spot on!

I was a bit hesitant to give it a go because it was way out of my comfort zone but so glad she encouraged me.

It is such a welcoming, safe and calming space and all the instructions are amazing.

Yoga nidra in particular has been a weekly favourite of mine, and is the only time of the week when my brain actually stops.

The breathing techniques I have learnt from their yoga classes, have helped me so much with running and my fitness journey.

Prenatal yoga - with Emily starts @thatlittleyogaplace on Sunday 4 May, 2025

This 6 week program is specifically designed for pregnant women to fulfil their health goals and have an empowered pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.

It will focus on honouring and gently preparing your body, mind and soul for the deeply transformative process and rite of passage that pregnancy, birth and motherhood has on a women’s life.

A great way to meet other pregnant women and make new friends, this class also holds the intention to create community and support networks for soon to be mothers.

*Limited numbers - bookings are essential

Meet Jessi 😊

Jess first experienced yoga through a Yin & Mindfulness practice for mental wellness, and immediately felt the grounding and healing benefits of being with the breath and body.

Attuned to energy, the ‘in’ of yin opened a deeper understanding of self, and awareness of others. Jess not long after completed her 200RYT and has been continuing the yoga journey since.

Having studied deeper into the Yin & Mindfulness practice and Tantra teachings, Jess feels into the yin/yang roles within the body and surrounds, and incorporates both into her practice through a mixture of gentle flows, longer holds, and awareness to moving with the breath.

Time on the mat is a gift to self, and Jess gently guides everyone to move at their own pace and create their own space.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

Taking the time just for me to rest & recharge in a cocoon of quilted blankets and knits hand made by both my grandma and mum. It makes them feel a bit closer.

Like a big comforting hug, safely wrapped up in their handmade love.

Rest.

This is very much an important part of the work that is to be done.

That Little Yoga Place is a down to earth, inclusive, community driven studio located in the heart of Moruya (Yuin Country) offering a dedicated space to move, breathe & connect authentically through the practice of Yoga, Community Circles & Workshops.

You will find a diverse range of mindful movement and stillness practices (7 days a week - every day of the year including all public holidays, Christmas Day & New Years Day).

Along with a wonderful team of dedicated, qualified and experienced teachers to choose from, who all bring something beautifully unique to their classes.
